Next term, my Year 10 students will commence their Shakespeare unit. As I have mentioned previously, my students are bright and largely enthusiastic. They are not, however, particularly keen on studying any of Shakespeare’s plays. As such, I have spent a lot of time talking up our allocated play, Macbeth. Now, I have to deliver some amazing lessons!
Below are some helpful resources that I have come across:
- Bell Shakespeare’s Macbeth Learning Pack
- Signet Classic study guide
- RSC – Shakespeare Unlocked
- Folger educational booklet
