Friday Fictioneers #20

1 Dec

It is Friday Fictioneer time, and I simply could not resist the pun potential of the prompt this week!

Between the covers

When the relationship began we were on the same page.  We loved spending time together between the covers, but also wanted freadom to pursue other pleasures.

We listed our preferences from the outset.  We agreed to adhere to the list.

He gave me his word that things would never change.

Together, we were partners in Crime, and in Romance.  We went North and South, East of Time, and to the Western borders.

And then, everything changed.  He asked the fatal question, “a film…?”

“A film?” I roared.  “Why would you watch a film, when there is a perfectly good book?”

Like this story?  Check out the others.

    Dear MSC,

No relationship is perfect is it? Love the plays on words..ie on the same page. Nicely done.

Oh yes. That could be a deal breaker. Fun story.

Oops! All’s fair in love, but I’m not sure if it always is in divorce. 🙂 I hope they have it “covered.”

    Cheers!
